Hotel Herberg Het Witte Paard (The White Horse Hotel) was built in 1890. It is located in a small beautiful village at a distance of only ten minutes of the centre of the historic Groningen city. Originally it was a baiting place where coaches made a stop for the night. Merchants and travellers could enjoy their nice meals, drinks and a bed of straw.
Nowadays the hotel, that has been fully restorated in 1999, offers the luxury comforts of a first-class country hotel in combination with unique meeting facilities, an excellent restaurant and a cosy lounge with an open fire. In this lounge you will
